Bedec Multi Surface Paint (MSP) is a versatile, self priming and self undercoating interior and exterior paint for use on a wide variety of surfaces. Ideal as a decorative, protective coating for most building surfaces including concrete, brickwork, rendering, asbestos, bitumen, iron, aluminium, lead, zinc, copper, timber, slate, most plastics, fibreglass and cement fibre board.

It's water based, microporous finish that is non yellowing and has low VOC content. MSP is also suitable for weathered substrates such as creosote, bitumen, galvanised and plastic coated cladding.

No undercoat or primer needed. Class 0 fire rated, resists heat up to 80. Primer required on mild steel.

NOT suitable for areas under constant water contact, high traffic areas, decking or wood treated with water repellant treatments. Plastic, wood, metal, radiators, plastic coated steel, cladding, brick, masonry, fibreglass, terracotta, stone, plaster, MDF, tiles, melamine, plastics, UPVC, galvanised steel, aluminium, copper.

Brush or roller 12-14 m² per litre, sprayer approx 6-8 m² per litre. 4 Hours, fully hardened after one month. Brush, Roller, Conventional Spray, Airless Spray.

Remove as much paint as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water. Make sure that surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and wax. Remove all loose and defective paint. Remove algae and fungus and treat with a fungicidal wash. Lightly sand smooth glossy surfaces to provide a key.

Bare steel should be free from rust, scale and dust before applying Bedec water based All Metals Primer. Pressure treated timber should be weathered for at least six months before painting.

E wood that has been left to the elements and has been degraded as a result - should be abraded to reveal new cells. New planed, finished wood or PSE wood should also be abraded to open the grain and allow maximum penetration. On untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement, render, plaster, brick work or any porous substrate, thin the first coat with approx. New creosote should be allowed 3 months to weather. You do not need to etch or prime galvanised steel.

Allow new galvanised steel to weather for two months before painting. We recommend to perform a test patch prior to application to ensure you are happy with the adhesion and colour.

Stir thoroughly with a flat object. Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are below 8°C or when rain is likely before the paint has fully dried. Apply by brush, roller, conventional H. Apply 2-3 coats on sealed surfaces, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly. Note: Spraying can significantly reduce coverage, depending on the type of spray equipment used. Airless spray systems for example coverage will be reduced to approximately 12-14 m2 per litre per coat.
